Do you know that you can watch YouTube videos in fast and slow motion? Yes YouTube provides features to watch videos in slow and fast motion. Once you play the video just click on setting tab and there you will see the speed option. You can control the speed of the video as per your need. See the Screenshot: -
YouTube allow us to change the speed of the video by the factor of 0.25x , 0.5x , 1x ,1.25x , 1.5x, 2x.
If you wish to have greater control over the video speed there is one alternative option. You can use traditional VLC player to play YouTube Videos and can easily control the speed of video.
To do so. Go to file menu in VLC player. Click on Open stream and paste the YouTube video URL in URL box and click on open. This will start playing your YouTube video in VLC player. This VLC player gives you more control over the playback. Click on Playback option to control speed of your video.
Advantage of VLC Player :
YouTube has speed factor up to only 2x. But with help of VLC player you can have control up to 4x.
